Does Wave work on Galaxy Watch?

Yes. Wave runs on Samsung Galaxy Watch models with Wear OS 3 or later, paired with an Android phone that has Wave installed. Older Tizen-based Galaxy Watches aren't supported.

Does Wave work on Pixel Watch?

Yes. Every Pixel Watch runs Wear OS 3 or later, so Wave works on all of them when paired with an Android phone that has Wave installed.

How do I install Wave on my Wear OS watch?

The watch app installs separately from the phone app. When Wave on your phone detects a paired watch without it, it shows a "Wave works on your watch" card. Tap Install to open the Play Store on your watch. You can also open the Play Store on the watch and search for Wave.

Does my watch need its own internet connection?

No. The watch records offline and passes recordings to your phone over the watch-to-phone connection. Your phone does the upload.

Can I use Wave on a Wear OS watch with an iPhone?

No. Wear OS watches pair with Android phones, and Wave's watch app syncs through the Wave app on that phone. With an iPhone, use Wave for Apple Watch.

Is there a tile or watch face complication?

Not on Wear OS yet. While you record or pause, Wave shows an ongoing activity on your watch face that takes you back to the recording.

Can I record a meeting or conversation on my Galaxy Watch or Pixel Watch?

Yes. For in-person meetings and conversations, start recording on your watch and stay in the discussion. Wave works as an AI note taker on your wrist: you get the same speaker-labeled transcript, summary, and action items as any Wave recording. Follow local recording consent laws.

Do watch recordings count toward my plan?

Yes. Once uploaded, a watch recording is a normal Wave session and counts toward your plan like any other recording. Wave is free to start.
