How to set it up

  1. Open Wave and go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Connect Microsoft OneNote with the Microsoft account that owns your notebooks.
  3. Pick a default notebook and section (you can change this per-export later).
  4. From any Wave session, tap Share → OneNote and the summary lands in that notebook.

Does Wave overwrite my OneNote pages?+

No. Each export creates a new page in the notebook and section you choose. Existing pages are not modified.

Can I export just the summary without the full transcript?+

Yes. You can choose to export the summary only, the transcript only, or both when you trigger the export.

Does this work with OneNote on the Mac, Windows, and the web?+

Yes — Wave writes to your Microsoft account's OneNote, so the new page appears in every OneNote client you have connected.

What if I'm not using OneNote anymore?+
