Fireflies.ai Pricing in 2026: Plans, Storage, and AI Credits
Fireflies.ai charges per seat, and its plans differ less on transcription than on storage, AI credits, and video. Here is each plan as listed on the Fireflies pricing page, and the details that are easy to miss.

The limits that matter

- Storage, not transcription, is the free-plan limit. Free is capped at 400 min per team, shared across the whole team.
- AI credits don’t refill. Fireflies’ guide says plan credits are one-time per account, not monthly; shared across the team. Add-ons start at 50 credits for $5/month.
- Annual billing saves up to 44%, and Enterprise is only sold yearly.
What changed recently
The free plan’s storage now reads 400 min per team. A third-party pricing guide updated in August 2026 still listed 800 minutes, so the allowance appears to have been cut in 2026. We could not confirm the date from Fireflies itself. We found no dated record of a seat-price change.
Cheaper alternatives to Fireflies.ai
- Wave AI isn’t priced per seat for individuals: free for 30 minutes a month, then Wave Pro at $15 a month or $80 a year on the web with unlimited recording. It records phone calls, in-person conversations, and Apple Watch or Wear OS recordings alongside meetings. Fireflies is stronger for team analytics and CRM workflows.
